About Jaimie Go
Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, and at times isolating. There are moments when we struggle to find the words to describe what we’re feeling, and other times when we’d rather not feel anything at all. These are deeply human experiences, and you’re not alone in them. Jaimie has over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based care. Her approach is compassionate, warm, attentive, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing happens in connection—with ourselves and with others.

Jaimie specializes in working with tweens, teens, adults, and couples who are navigating a wide range of challenges. Whether you're a young person struggling with school anxiety, self esteem, or identity issues, a new parent adjusting to the profound changes of perinatal or postpartum life, or part of a couple caught in painful cycles of conflict, miscommunication, or mistrust, Jaimie's goal is to help you move toward clarity, connection, and healing.
Jaimie completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She incorporates a range of evidence-based treatment modalities to support her clients, tailoring her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. She draws from Client-Centered Therapy to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
In addition to her clinical experience, Jaimie has completed specialized training in key areas, including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International (PSI), ADHD Clinical Services Provider certification, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) training.

Some of Jaimie's areas of expertise include:

-
Life transitions – from adolescence to adulthood, career shifts, parenthood, or relationship changes, these phases often bring up uncertainty and emotional overwhelm.
-
"Failure to launch" – supporting young adults (and their families) who are struggling with independence, motivation, or identity formation.
-
Couples therapy, including high-conflict couples – helping partners move through communication breakdowns, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of relating.
-
New moms and parents – navigating perinatal and postpartum challenges including identity shifts, mood changes, 'mom guilt,' adjusting to life after baby, and trauma related to birth or parenting.
-
Trauma and Chronic Illness – supporting clients in healing from past experiences that continue to impact their nervous system and relationships, with a trauma informed, mind-body approach.
-
Adolescent mental health – working with tweens and teens facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, peer and school stress, and emotional regulation.
-
ADHD- helping clients to better understand their ADHD and build skills that enhance daily functioning and self confidence by developing personalized strategies to improve focus, organization, and emotional regulation.

Jaimie approaches her work with a strong foundation in cultural humility and sensitivity, recognizing the importance of honoring each client’s unique cultural background and lived experience. She works from a multicultural lens, which allows her to consider the impact of cultural, societal, and familial influences on mental health and personal identity. As a bilingual therapist, Jaimie offers services in both English and Tagalog, creating a more inclusive and accessible space for clients from diverse communities.

Jaimie believes therapy is a collaborative process. She offers a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world, deepen self-awareness, and build tools for resilience and growth. Together, you can uncover patterns, develop insight, and move toward the kind of life and relationships you want to create.

In her spare time, Jaimie enjoys spending time with her partner and their two boys, quiet time with coffee, junk journaling, reading, working out, exploring new places, and spending time outside.
